Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital

This is an abandoned building located in Parsippany. Just as the name implies, we are talking about a former asylum, which was opened in the year 1876. There were hundreds of patients that were housed here, sometimes as high as 7,500 at one time. One of the really famous patients was Woody Guthrie. He suffered from the dreaded Huntington’s disease. The building is French Renaissance and although the building is scheduled for demolition, it is definitely one location that is incredibly scary.

Snake Hill

Located in Secaucus, we are talking about a location that was once a psychiatric hospital, penitentiary and almshouse, all together to a truly monstrous black rock that looms right over the Turnpike. Children in Hudson County have been scared for years by Snake Hills, a location that is said to house many snakes. In case you do not know, this is the inspiration for the world renowned The Rock.

Pine Barrens

This is a New Jersey location that is simply beautiful and that is mysterious at the same time. It is also really spooky with many dark woods, deep woods, a truly overwhelming silence and various trails that are said to lead towards doom. The location has been connected to devils, ghosts and even goblins. You will surely end up feeling scared when in the area, especially at night. Organize late night camping only if you do not scare easily.

Shades Of Death Road

Located in Warren County, this is the road that sounds scary right on when you are on it. The road is close to Hope town but hope seems to be far away when you are on this road. The name is connected with various legends. One of them says that a wildcats band killed and mutilated the residents that initially stayed in the area. While the scientific explanation that was discovered through historic documents was connected to malaria, legends still exist and are enough to scare you.

Devil’s Tree

Located in Bernards, on Mountain Road, this is a place where legend says that one farmer killed his kids and wife. After, he hanged himself from this tree. The legend claims that if you cut the tree, you die. It seems that there are many people that tried to cut the tree and eventually died. You can actually see many ax marks on the Devil’s Tree. Those marks are enough to send thrills on your back. If you do visit Warren County, make sure that you also consider visiting Camp Pahaquarry as it is also really scary.

The name is quite self-explanatory. It is a park that is simply filled with rocks, the kind that you see in movies. You can easily strike these with hammers. The result is a sound that you can actually hear. This park covers 7 acres and is open to all visitors. Even if the same material is found inside the rocks, just a third will ring and vibrate. This in itself is weird and there are many park visitors that went through metaphysical events after listening to the rock vibrations.

The Rolling Hills Asylum

This property is found in East Bethany, New York. It is believed to be a plethora of paranormal activity marked by slamming doors, shadowy disembodied people and voices of elderly women calling out ‘hello’ and phantoms.  The property was established in 1827 and over 1700 bodies are buried around the place in unmarked graves.

The people who lived there over the years when it functioned as a hospital, an asylum and a nursing home are believed to haunt the place down because for most of them it is the only home they ever knew. They are said to poke people, to kill rats by breaking their necks, to slam doors and anything they can do to establish their haunting presence.

UFO sighting Colorado Springs

In November 2008, Obama was still President Elect and giving an important speech in Colorado. An interesting and mysterious video was filmed by MSNBC and later a person watching the video pointed out an unusual object flying in the sky in the background.

This was not noticed by the original cameraman when he was filming. It was not spotted by the human eye that day but it is claimed that cameras can catch things that the human eye cannot because they have special lenses.

Cryptic Carcass in Paradis, Louisiana

3^rd February 2007, a quarter past two in the morning. A man happened to be driving by an accident scene near Paradis when he noticed an accident. Two police vehicles were on scene parked next to a strange looking large animal that looked like a mixture of many different animals with a golden camel-head.

There was also a large nicely dressed man next to a red Mustang which was badly damaged and shadowy. The man took pictures but no people seem to appear in the picture. The animal appears as well as the Mustang. No report about this incidence has been made in any police stations around the place either but the police on patrol duty that night can corroborate this story.

Mutilated Farm Animals in Colorado

In the 20^th century there have been many incidences in which ranchers woke up in the morning to cows badly mutilated and internal organs ripped out or udders taken. Buffaloes were also reported to have been mutilated as well as other farm animals. The strange thing is that there would be no blood on the animals or on the ground.

A recent case was reported near River Purgatoire in 2009 where a cow was mutilated and udders taken then two weeks later another rancher from Walsenburg reported the same. The udders looked like they had been cut off by laser. Yet another farmer reported a dead calf. When he cut off its hide the legs just fell off and all its bones were broken.

These are thought to be experiments of extraterrestrial beings and Colorado is especially famous for these activities and UFO sightings.
