Greece is a highly spiritual country with a history that is based on legends and energy, in so many possible variations. With this in mind, it should come as no surprise to notice various energy places that draw in millions of people from all around the world every single year. Greece as a country is a place of mystery that has legends that are impossible not to attract you. With this in mind, here are the mysterious energy places in Greece you have to visit.

Lakonia – Pyramid Of Taygetos Mountain

This is a phenomenon pyramid that is located right on the highest peak of Mount Taygetos. It is quite unique and there are claims that this is actually the oldest of all the pyramids in the entire world. Most people want to visit in order to figure out if the pyramid was created by humans or it is a natural phenomenon. This is a place filled with energy and power that is said to be highly beneficial for the visitors.

Attica – Davelis Cave

This is a metaphysical location in Greece, most likely, the best known one. Davelis Cave has so many mysteries and legends attached to its name. It is seen as god Pan’s once holy place, together with the Nymphs, a true milestone for Greek mythology. What is interesting is that this is the one location in the country that brought in the most stories associated with ghost stories, electromagnetic phenomena, conspiracy theories, time gates, Davelis legend and other myths or legends.

Arkadia – Church Of Aghia Theodora

This is definitely a weird Greek church that is located in the Arkadia Prefecture, close to Megalopolis, one of the fantastic energy places in Greece. There are 17 trees that embrace a church built in the 12th century. Brunches actually pop through the roof and you never see the roots. Experts do not understand this phenomenon. Public tradition says that Saint Theodora was responsible as her body became the church, while the hair grew into the trees that surround the church. Positive energy can be found all around this church so you do want to consider a visit.

Argolida – Asclepion At Epidaurus

This is a huge healing temple, the largest one that still stands today. It is dedicated to Asclepios and the temple stood out as a meeting point for those that were suffering in ancient Greece. The location is highly positively charged and you will feel great from the moment you see it.

Aherusia

Aherusia was seen as the entrance of Hades to his underworld and frightful rivers in ancient Greece. Human imagination and mythology created a location that has so much history. You can feel the energy created here along the years through necromancy stories and so many otherworldly legends.

When thinking about the mysterious adventures that Scotland has to offer, the first thing that comes to mind is the possibility of seeing the Loch Ness monster but that is definitely a shame since there is much more than can be said. Various Scottish ghost stories exist so it should come as no surprise to see that various haunted locations can be visited. Let’s highlight some so that you can see exactly why many ghost hunters can be seen in Scotland all year long.

Rosslyn Chapel

You can find the Rosslyn Chapel in the Roslin visit. It is a chapel that is 500 years old and rumored to house many spirits. It was said that artifacts were available in the crypt, including the Holy Grail, Jesus Christ’s mummified heart and the first Scotland crown jewels.

What is interesting is that many of the people that visited the castle and know nothing about its haunted nature did report meeting a black knight that was riding a horse. Historians claim one of these died in 1303 in a battle against English soldiers. There are also some stories about a lady in white that has the castle as home.

Cawdor Castle

There is a long history of weird paranormal occurrences reported at Cawdor Castle. If you love William Shakespeare’s work, with plays like Macbeth and Romeo And Juliet, so many are connected with this location. It is considered that Juliet’s inspiration was the Earl of Cawdor’s daughter as she had a relationship with someone in a rival family. The story says that she was killed by her father when she found out about the relationship. Ever since then you may see a young woman without hands that roams the structure in a dress made out of blue velvet.

Dryburgh Abbey Hotel

Countless sightings and unexplained paranormal activity are connected with the hotel. Originally, this was the site of a monks order in the Roman Catholic Church, with Lord of Lauderdale being the founder. Sources say that the original building that the abbey was built on was of a young woman that ended up in a relationship with a monk. As the monk was executed, the woman killed herself. Dryburgh Abbey hotel visitors report that they see a woman around the grounds. She is locally referred to as The Grey Lady. Sometimes ghosts of monks are also reported.

Stirling Castle

So many Scotland castles are said to be haunted, with this one being among the most interesting. Various spirits are reported but the one that is the most frequent is known as the Highland Ghost. What is interesting is that visitors actually say that they thought the ghost was a guide. They approached the ghost and it disappeared. The Green Lady is another reported ghost. She is believed to be a servant of Queen of Scots, Mary. She is said to have died while trying to save the queen from a fire.

Niddry Street Vaults

This location was actually featured in “Joe Swash Believes in Ghosts” and in “Most Haunted”. The vaults were home to various merchants, taverns and basically countless outlaws, including Burke and Hare, well-known serial killers. It was reported that the Niddry Street Vaults were actually used to hide bodies as they were on their murderous streaks. Not many records exist but ever since the vaults were rediscovered, various ghost sighting reports appeared. This site is filled with paranormal stories like killings, suicides and rituals.

Thanks to its plethora of organized beaches, visitors in Santorini are lucky enough to get the chance to try out a great selection of water sports for beginners and advanced funs alike!

Moreover, thanks to the prevailing northeastern winds, Santorini is also ideal for more athletic activities. For those of you eagerly want to master the salty waves, test their resistance to the sea wind or even see the sunbathing crowds from above; surfing, windsurfing or kitesurfing feature among the top choices on the whole of the island. You can either bring your own equipment or hire some from the beach. If you are not experienced in these kind of sports, but still thrilled to see others showing off their skills, then visit any of the seafront water sports schools, where professional instructors will teach you all the right techniques. Scuba diving also holds a special place on the island! Due to its volcanic nature Santorini boasts a sea bed rich in beauty and underwater attractions.
What to see

The Temple of Apollo located in a prominent and central position, is the most important monument of the site. The temple included great statues and offerings to the god, and served as a place for rituals. The temple was also used to safe keep the trophies from major Athenian victories and other items dedicated to the Temple.

The Theater of Delphi situated right above the Temple of Apollo is well-preserved and offers stunning views to the lush green mountainous scenery.

The Archaeological Museum of Delphi is one of the most important museums in Greece, displaying findings telling the story of the Oracle. What you shouldn’t miss though is the bronze statue of Iniochos.

Deplhi Today

Modern Delphi is a charming village with quaint houses, traditional tavernas and cozy tourist accommodation. Thanks to its elevated position the village overlooks the sea of the Corinthian Gulf miles away.

After a busy day sightseeing you should take some time and relax, wandering around this hospitable mountain resort. What you can find here apart from souvenirs, is shops with authentic pieces of art by local artists, clothes shops and shops selling local products, such as olive oil and products made of it, and the delicious soft cheese formaela, best eaten fried.

Extra Tips

Delphi can be visited all year round, but it’s better to plan your trip in spring when the weather is mild and the scorching sun won’t leave you exhausted…or sunburned!

Keep in mind that your visit to the archaeological sites will be long, so you’d better start early. The museum and the archaeological site are open daily from 8:30 to 15:00.

Wear comfortable shoes and light clothes. Beware of the slippery areas!

The unique volcanic setting of Santorini is an ideal holiday destination, thanks to its magnificent views, traditional Cycladic houses, unearthly beaches and interesting archaeological sites. Although, Santorini is mostly visited by lovebirds that want to seal their love with a kiss at the time the red-hot sun is setting into the Aegean Sea, there are still more this small paradise has to offer!

Sights and attractions

Santorini’s villages – Definitely pay a visit to the different settlements and villages of Santorini, such as Oia which is perched on the cliffs of Caldera overlooking the sea. If you wish to watch the renowned sunset of Santorini, take your seat on the cliffs and hold your significant other’s hand for utterly emotional moments. To get the whole picture though, you should also visit Santorini’s inland, where the true pulse of the locals beat. Go to the traditional wine village of Megalochori, 5km away from the main town, Fira, and travel back in time staying in one of the Santorini Villas and Mansions once housing old wineries.

Archaeological Site of Akrotiri – The settlement of Akrotiri is considered to be a Minoan colony which was destroyed by the violent 17th century BC earthquake, as most of the settlements in Santorini. Thanks to the recent renovations the site is now completed shaded and even friendlier to visitors.

The settlement of Ancient Thira in Mesa Vouno – Located in the southeast of Santorini, Ancient Thira is the island’s jewel. The settlement includes Hellenistic and Roman period structures, as well as an amphitheater dated back around the 3rd or 4th BC century.

The volcanic islet of Nea Kameni – Located in the centre of Caldera, the islet is one of the most popular attractions in Santorini accessible only by boat. You can reach the crater of the volcano and also swim in the existing thermal baths.

Amazing beaches to swim

Vlychada Beach – Imposing rocks curved by the air and sea stand right above the beach, creating a truly lunar landscape for a relaxing day on the beach. There is also a beach bar perched on the rocks for delicious food and drink. This is one of the beaches in Santorini you should definetly visit.

By Daniel Duce under CC BY 2.0

Red Beach – Surrounded by red rocks, this unusual beach offers an isolated and peaceful setting for sunbathing and swimming in crystal clear waters. You’d better bring your own beach equipment though and there are only few sun beds and umbrellas here; however you’ll find a small canteen for basic food and drink.

By magnipier under CC BY 2.0

White Beach – Right next to the Red Beach, this little cove with the whitewashed pebbles and transparent waters can only be reached by boat from its neighboring beach, thus creating an ideal setting for a lovely day at the seashore.

By Simon Q under CC BY 2.0

Athens is all about sightseeing… we’ve no objection to that, as the city is filled with ancient ruins and impressive structures like the Acropolis, the Temple of Olympian Zeus right in the city centre and the archaeological sites of scenic Plaka, to name just a few.

Now, what could be the best coffee shop for a culture vulture, if not a museum café? And because pleasant surprises and beautiful images are what make a holiday memorable, don’t miss these hot picks that not only offer a revitalizing hit of caffeine, but also splendid views and great atmosphere in the heart of Athens. So, if you are planning to visit this stunning city and eagerly getting ready to explore, there are three things you’ll need to get sorted: central Athens accommodation, a pair of comfy trainers and plans for the best stops for coffee to boost your energy levels on a busy day exploring.

The Acropolis Museum – Café

After a thoroughly enjoyable visit to the unmissable newly built Acropolis Museum, admiring the magnificent and creative skills of ancient Greeks, you’ll certainly need something to delight your palate. Head to the 2nd floor of the museum, where you’ll find a huge sun-lit terrace with fantastic views of the Acropolis along with a little perk-me-up in the form of great flavoured coffee. Plus, if you manage to get there before 12 o’clock you’ll get the chance to savour the restaurant’s traditional Greek breakfast. The Acropolis Museum is easily reachable by metro (Acropoli station).

Benaki Museum – Café

Displaying exhibits of ancient Greece, as well as paintings depicting Greek history through time, Benaki museum is housed in a well-preserved new classical building and centrally located, close to Syntagma Square (Evangelismos metro station on the Blue line). Highlight of the museum is definitely considered its rooftop café with a large terrace offering panoramic views of Acropolis, Lycabettus hill and the National Gardens. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a snack to tame your hunger until your next stop.

Numismatic Museum of Athens – Café

This impressive building designed by famous German architect Ernest Schiller houses a rich collection of ancient and modern coins. However, the museum also has a little secret called the Coffee Shop in the Numismatic Museum’s Garden! It’s a cozy café nestled amidst the museum’s lush garden, serving exceptional coffee and snacks. Although, the view is not as dramatic as some of the others we’ve mentioned, the whole atmosphere invites you to take some time out and simply relax in elegant surroundings. The Numismatic Museum of Athens is centrally located on Panepistimiou Street, just a few minutes’ walk from Syntagma Square.

Athens, the vibrant Greek Capital is a 24 hour city. People meet at all hours of the day, for drinks with friends, coffee in the mornings, or dancing until the first metro starts at 6am. When it comes to nightlife, the options are endless, with bars and clubs, cafeterias, open squares and tavernas. If you want to take an Athens night out just follow the tips below or trust your instinct and find the best ways to have fun in this amazing city. Start from the center of Athens, go and meet some locals, and enjoy another take on this historic city.

Drunk Sinatra, Kolokotroni & Thiseos Street, Athens

This is one of the most popular bars in the city and has become ‘talk of the town’ over the last few months. Found on the pedestrianised Thiseos Street, close to Karytsi Square, it stars the legendary Frank Sinatra! Playing the music of the Rat Pack and with carefully chosen décor, it packs them in! We suggest the aromatic passion fruit cocktail. It might just fly you to the moon! Take an Athens tour to explore some bars in Athens city and take some inside tips or info from locals.

By Divya Thakur under CC BY-SA 2.0

Brettos, 41 Kidathinaion, Plaka

Brettos is not just a favourite with visitors, locals regularly seek out an unusual flavor in here. The oldest distillery in the city, it dates back over 100 years and really hasn’t changed much. The bar is filled with hundreds of brightly coloured bottles each containing a homemade liqueur. We highly recommend the Maraschino flavour!

Mikro bar, 13 Kiprou Glyfada

Although in the Southern Suburbs of Athens, Mikro Bar is certainly worth the trip. A futuristic spot with industrial design, drinks come in mini bottles, while the cocktails are edgy, but delicious. Mikro Bar is a glamorous place, so make sure you dress to impress.

Monk bar, 15-17 Kolokotroni Street, Athens

This is a brand new spot in the center of Athens that welcomes you from early morning with a cosy coffee, leisurely drink with good jazz, soul and funky music in the evening, or, of course, some of the best cocktails in town. It’s an ideal choice for the winter months with speciality cocktails like the ‘Smoking Monk’ (a steamy version of Manhattan) or the ‘Cucumber Thrill’, a spicy and aromatic mix, based on gin, with cucumber and lime! The décor is excellent, with medieval references that are a clear nod to monasteries. The style is gothic, with hidden archways and corners that give it a mysterious atmosphere.

London bar & resto, 72 Solonos, Athens

A London corner bar in Kolonaki, Athens! In the heart of the city, where the chic Kolonaki meets the bohemian Exarcheia, at the foot of Lycabettus Hill, the London bar is waiting for coffee, dinner or a drink. It’s an ideal meeting point, on the pulse of the city, a place that’s really drawing crowds and making a name for itself.

London is one of the most culturally diverse capitals in the world and has hundreds of interesting and intriguing sites and sculptures, but what is Britain most famous for? Pubs. Public houses were created hundreds of years ago where people would gather as families and friends where they would all eat, drink and be merry and thankfully not much has changed since those days.

There are literally thousands of pubs to choose from that are scattered across the UK, and a lot of the more well known ones reside in our nations capital. Here is a few of the favourites for you to feast your eyes on.

By Ewan Munro under CC BY-SA 2.0

Three of the most famous London Pubs

Punch & Judy

This is certainly not a kids show, this exquisite West End pub is situated in the widely popular Covent Garden and is split into two bars with an upstairs floor that has a simply beautiful balcony where you can kick back and relax with your favourite beverage. The downstairs is more like the old school London pubs you used to get, quite compact but friendly and welcoming. It is one of the busiest pubs in the whole of London and is where it get its fame from, they even play rock and indie music to entice the younger generations. It is open daily and serves plenty of delicious food, making it a perfect place to visit.

By Tom Bastin under CC BY 2.0

The Blind Beggar

Famous worldwide, this pub was popular back in the day where east end gangsters roamed London’s streets. When the The Blind Beggar was opened Ronnie Kray (one of the 2 Kray twins, known to be the most famous gangsters in London) was found guilty of the murder of fellow underworld figure, George Cornell. This has made this pub one of the most historical in the country and is almost a pub and a museum at the very same time. It is safe for visitors and it is said that William Booth gave his first ever open air sermon outside its doors, which lead to the creation of The Salvation Army. Unlike the Punch & Judy pub, this bar is a little more quiet so there is no massive influx of people and tourists whilst you are enjoying your food and drink.

By Ewan Munro under CC BY-SA 2.0

The Punch Bowl

Owned by no other than world famous film director and ex husband to Madonna, Guy Richie. The Punch Bowl was built in 1750 and is famous for not only its owner but also its clientèle as famous stars such as Leonardo Di Caprio, Mickey Rourke, Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law and Sophie Dahl have all been for a tipple. Being high quality it is no surprise that the pub is situated in the heart of Mayfair and they even have a private room that is a saloon with not only its own bar but also a wonderfully quaint open fireplace. To top it all off they have a large selection is succulent food that is entirely sourced from Britain and is of the finest quality, certainly somewhere to consider for a special occasion.

Titanic Belfast is hitting global headlines in the tourism industry. This time it is for all the right reasons. Long been a victim of terrorism and political conflict which had adversely affected the economy as well as had banished the foreign visits to the region. The country is now fighting back hard to get back on the map of tourist industry to earn itself name as well as money to boost its economic situation. They have high hopes with the new building to bring back the days of joy that were there when titanic was built in the same land of Belfast a hundred years ago.

The building has been constructed by investing millions into the six storied piece of art and architecture. It has been constructed keeping in mind the ship’s hull and the makers of the ship that were the white star liners. If you take a look from the top it does give the resemblance with a star. The building is a sure world-class attraction for the world at large. This ship had been built at the very same location as to where the building stands today and has been named the Titanic Quarters. Belfast is the proud makers of the ship with the sweat and labour put into the craftsmanship. The history has been revised and corrected since long it was looked down upon because of its tragic ending in the Atlantic Ocean. But now all the scores have been reset and redefined and the city presents a sense of pride over the construction of an immaculate ship. The great tour collection in Belfast in Ireland. You can get more ideas about travel and tourism of titanic related amazing travel stories. The great building in Belfast for visiting and getting more fun for travel point of view. The peoples could become better ideas and kept you more comfortable during travel in different places for just enjoying.

[embedplusvideo height=”281″ width=”450″ standard=”http://www.youtube.com/v/kDMoUHsWAyY?fs=1″ vars=”ytid=kDMoUHsWAyY&width=450&height=281&start=&stop=&rs=w&hd=0&autoplay=0&react=1&chapters=&notes=” id=”ep8863″ /]

The journey takes you from the architectural designs of the ship from its offices which can be viewed through guided walking tours till its construction. The slipways where the ship last touched the dry grounds and the pump house can also be walked about. This is not all; the artefacts, exhibits, visuals, rides, luncheons, suites, and banquets take you to the glorified days of its launch and let you experience the real titanic. This is the largest titanic exhibit in the world and if you plan a visit to Europe than this is a must see as the Northern Ireland has been revitalised to give you a whole new experience of love and spring in the air. The photographic scenery, pleasant weather, natural and man-made constructions together welcome the visitors with an all new Titanic Northern Ireland. The travel and visits is more great activity when you feel troubling and don’t perform normal activities then you should be prefer tour in outsides places foe just relaxation. In this manner you could be get great environment for enjoying purposes of travling.
