Many parents who practice meditation wonder how old their children should be before they start learning to meditate. Meditation is a great way to maintain a healthy mind and it is also a great tool to use when facing difficulties or going through rough periods in life. However, parent shouldn’t introduce their children to meditation if children are not interested to meditate. If a child manifest an interest in their parents’ meditation practices then the parent can consider introducing them to meditation, yoga or other type of activity they enjoy.
If children doesn’t not want to learn to meditate, it is best not to force them to meditate since they can grow up resenting the activity.
