There have been many great smartphones that have been released by Nokia since the time they have started offering the Windows Phone OS. The latest to join this list of phones is the Nokia Lumia 620. Most of the Nokia Lumia 620 reviews are highlighting that it is a budget phone and why shouldn’t it be when it is priced at only Rs. 15,000. Even though this phone doesn’t have a large display, it provides great build quality. It has a dual-core processor and 1GB Ram that is quite enough for such a mid-range phone. Let us go through the superb specifications it offers.

Design
The Nokia Lumia 620 is available in five different colors that are a plus to this feature-rich phone. The size of this phone is 4.5 inches tall and 2.4 inches wide. Its thickness is 0.43 inches and it weighs at 4.5 ounces. The 3.8 inches display with the 800×480 pixel resolution it provides is small but quite better for this budget phone. Its front has a VGA camera above the display and three capacitive buttons below the display. The top of the phone has a 3.5mm headset jack while a micro-USB port covers the bottom. The buttons for volume, power/lock and camera shutter are on the right side. Apart from the 5 meagapixel rear camera, a microSD slot and SIM card slot highlight the inside of the phone when the back cover is removed.

What’s outside
The Nokia Lumia 620 reviews highlights that this phone should have had better processor than the 1GHz Snapdragon S4 Plus processor it provides. This processor is paired with a 512MB RAM and a microSd slot which is expandable up to 64GB. It has an 8GB internal storage and offers 3.8 inches display that is based on the ClearBlack LCD technology. This technology provides for the great outdoor visibility and amazing color reproduction on the display of this phone.

What’s inside
The clean and smooth Windows Phone 8 interface that the Nokia Lumia 620 phone provides is the highlight of this phone. At such an affordable cost, this phone offers many built-in softwares that include the Metro interface, Live Tiles, Office 2013, Xbox integration, Skype and much more. The Nokia Music app it provides lets users to make their own personalized playlists. It gives amazing audio quality that offers clear sound output.

Interface
As anticipated by most Nokia Lumia 620 reviews, this phone provides very smooth performance because of the Windows Phone 8. It offers limited RAM so extensive games like Asphalt 7 can’t be played on this phone. It provides a lockscreen that works like the notification bar. The large live tiles it has can be changed to different sizes namely, small, medium and large. It supports multitasking and allows other apps to run in background. The default Internet Explorer 10 gives smooth and fast performance. This phone also supports Bluetooth transfer.

Camera
It has a 5 megapixel rear camera with settings like exposure, ISO, white balance, flash, autofocus, night mode as well as close-up mode. It also features a 0.3 megapixel VGA front camera which can be used for video calling.

Battery Life
The 1300mAh battery of the Nokia Lumia 620 phone offers great battery life in standby mode. The phone can stay without charging for more than a day on standby. On heavy usage of the phone, the battery can go down till 64% within a day. But, this can be controlled by reducing the brightness of the phone.

Verdict
The Nokia Lumia 620 offers cheap and fairly good hardware with an extensive range of built-in softwares. This is a mid-range phone that offers the amazing features of the Windows Phone 8.

With today’s busy world, most jobs include some sort of traveling. For anyone in sales, marketing, or any other business-related field, you can’t afford to be separated from your clients and your business while traveling. Although it’s hard to recreate an office while on the road, there are some top devices that can make traveling and staying connected much easier. If you’re a busy person, these are the top 5 devices for people “on-the-go” you can consider and find in many online e-tailers like Newegg or Amazon.

1. GPS System: One of the more important tools that travelers may need is a reliable GPS system. However, this can depend on your traveling method. If a good amount of driving is required for your travels, then a GPS is going to be one of the best tools for you. Be sure to choose one that has free map updates as this can save a lot of time and money in the long run. On the other hand, if you travel primarily by plane, a GPS probably would not be as useful, but can still be a great tool to bring on trips where any type of driving is going to be involved.

2. Smartphone: Smartphones have taken the world by storm and almost everyone has some type of smartphone albeit an iPhone 5, Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone, you name it. With these handy devices, you can access email, browse the web, make and receive calls, and stay connected to your friends, family, and business all in one easy handheld device. Although the small size of a smartphone may limit you somewhat, these handy devices have been listed as the traveler’s best tool.

3. Adaptor: For international travelers, they can’t stress how important adaptors are. This small tool can be easily included in luggage, and a basic wall adaptor can be used in outlets around the world. If you find yourself traveling globally, a travel adaptor is one of the easiest gadgets to find. When purchasing an adaptor, be sure to choose one that can be converted or used in at least three countries– and will be able to work for major types of electrical outlets.

4. Ultrabook: For travelers that like having a more substantial computer, the ultra-slim ultrabooks are a great choice. These slim and small computers are a great tool to carry around. They have the same features of a computer, but are slim enough to fit into a small bag or purse and have a long-lasting battery life. In addition, the keyboard makes it a perfect tool for typing documents or writing emails—a feature iPads and smartphones just cannot compete. Overall, ultrabooks offer travelers more options and easy access to many computer functions that smaller handheld devices lack.

5. E-reader: Our last suggested tool would have to be an e-reader. Whether you go with the newest Windows RT Tablet which can be used as an e-reader or a kindle, or a nook, these are great ways to keep up with books, magazines, and newspapers while on the road. Furthermore, these are fairly inexpensive, especially for basic version e-reader which typically span under $100. They’re also handy because you can practically fit a library’s worth of books all in one small handheld tablet. If you’re an avid reader, this is a great tool for you to take when traveling.

The next time you head out on a trip, be sure to bring one of these top five devices.
